EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP
JEFF BISBERG - Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Bisberg has 25 years of
experience in developing and marketing innovative solid-state technologies,
focused on light-emitting technologies, including developing novel organic
light emitting diodes (LEDs), LED print-heads, and an award winning laser
printing system. Mr. Bisberg has over 20 published papers, patents, and
standards in the field of electro-optics. Mr. Bisberg received his Masters
in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University.
PETER VAN LAANEN - Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Van Laanen brings to Albeo more
than 30 years of research and product development in the fields of medical
electronics, magnetic and optical data storage, and fiber optical communication.
He has 12 patents in the fields of medical equipment, data storage, and
electro-optics. He has held management positions at Storage Technology,
Infineon and Picolight as well as several smaller startup companies and
holds a BSEE and MSEE from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
NEIL CANNON - EVP Business Development
Mr. Cannon has 20 years of experience
in business development, engineering management, and equity financings
in the Optics industry from positions at Picolight (sold to JDSU in 2008),
Iolon, and at Siemens/Infineon Fiber Optics. At Picolight he was VP of
Engineering throughout the turn around and sale of the company. He has
3 patents in electro-optic devices. Mr. Cannon has a BA and an MS from
Dartmouth College.
TRACY EARLES - VP Marketing and Sales
Mr. Earles has
25 years of experience in technology companies, with the last 15 years
spent marketing a broad range of optoelectronic, networking, and telecom
products. He started his first company at age 35 in the telecommunications
equipment market, and has extensive experience with all aspects of marketing
and sales, business planning, and team leadership. He holds Bachelor’s
and Master’s degrees in electrical engineering and an MBA from
Dartmouth’s Tuck School.
