Albeo’s Award Winning C-Series High Bay Luminaire Lights Up Grain Millers' Warehouse.
Albeo Technologies, an award winning LED lighting manufacturer, supplied their C-Series LED High Bay for Grain Miller's lighting retrofit project. The C-Series High Bay was chosen for the project over a 6-lamp T5HO system. Albeo's C-Series High Bay provides superior longevity, maintenance cost, and efficacy compared to the fluorescent alternative. In addition, a mercury-free solution is ideal for this application because it eliminates the risk of contamination for the company’s milling operation. The project used Albeo's 325W C-Series High Bay with 6 LED bars, 5000K color temperature, and lifetime rated 5 times longer than typical fluorescents.
"Grain Millers required a lighting solution that posed zero risk of contamination for its milling operation. LED is an ideal solution because it's mercury-free. Another benefit of a mercury-free lighting is the elimination of lamp recycling costs." said Jason Korbelik, Albeo Sales Manager. "With superior lifetime and better performance, we are seeing our LED luminaires out perform more fluorescents head-to-head for these types of projects."
The milling operation upgraded from 400W metal halide, reducing lighting energy by as much as 30% while improving illumination at the working plane by 50%.
